Todd Zywicki teaches in the areas of bankruptcy and contracts, with a focus on law and economics. Todd came to the George Mason University School of Law from the Mississippi College of Law, where he had held a faculty position since 1996.
He clerked for the Honorable Jerry E. Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and worked as an associate at Alston & Bird in Atlanta, Georgia, where he practiced bankruptcy law.
Professor Zywicki received his J.D. (1993) from the University of Virginia, where he was executive editor of the Virginia Tax Review and John M. Olin Scholar in Law and Economics. He received a M.A. (1990) in Economics from Clemson University and his A.B. (1988) with high honors from Dartmouth College.
