George A. Selgin is one of the founders of the Hayekian Modern Free Banking School. His research deals with macroeconomics, monetary theory and history, and the denationalization of money. His historical research includes work on Gresham’s Law and the private coinages of Great Britain during the era of the Industrial Revolution.
