Bring the Joy of Discovery to the Next Generation

American universities were once the bastion of intellectual discovery and civil discourse. Today, they are under threat from rising authoritarianism, siloing, illiberal activism, and dysfunction.
As you know, the best ideas are made better when they are tested and challenged. That is why we still need places where the fearless joy of discovery lives and a community for thinkers to connect and grow together.

As an IHS alum, you know how important having such a community and connecting with freedom-minded peers and mentors can be. You know that in order for the best ideas to escape echo chambers and make a mark in the real world, faculty and students need access to resources and support from other truth-seekers who have a shared love for intellectual exploration and discovery.

That’s why the next generation of academics and today’s masterful teachers need your help.

We are launching a suite of new programs to ensure that professors can bring the ideas of classical liberalism to their students and scholars have the support and community they need. Just as you benefited from IHS programs and funding in the past, you can ensure that others like you have a community, the support, and the resources to boldly seek truth and inspire students with the ideas that made human freedom and flourishing possible.

Your investment supports:

  • Research Grants for promising young scholars already making an impact in their field
  • Mentorships to support the connection of freedom-focused faculty members with graduate students
  • Educational Entrepreneurship Grants to support faculty-hosted classical liberal programming and teaching for undergraduate students

With your investment, we can ensure that freedom-focused ideas are heard within and beyond our universities and in the real world.
