Innovation in Health: A Proposals Workshop

Overview

The Institute for Humane Studies is pleased to invite scholars to an online proposals workshop on innovation in health care and in health policy. As conversations abound on how to improve health care, IHS offers scholars an opportunity to workshop ideas and receive feedback on working proposals on health innovation from other health scholars. The program will feature opening remarks from Anthony Lo Sasso.

If your research relates to market-based solutions to health care and health insurance, technological innovation in health care, or about access to innovative treatments, we encourage you to apply to participate in this proposals workshop. Please include an abstract or working proposal in your application.

All participants will be expected to submit a working proposal and to read and provide comments or feedback on other participants’ proposals. This event will take place on October 21, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:30 PM Eastern Time, and will be hosted via Zoom.

Here is the timeline for our application process:

  1. Apply for a position 
  2. An HR team member will review your application submission  
  3. If selected for consideration, you will speak with a recruiter 
  4. If your experience and skills match the role, you will interview with the hiring manager
  5. If you are a potential fit for the position, you will interview with additional staff members
  6. If you are the candidate chosen, we will extend a job offer

 

All candidates will be notified regarding the status of their application within two to three weeks of submission. As new positions often become available, we encourage you to visit our site frequently for additional opportunities that align with your interests and skills.
