Laura Barnett is the Director of Conference Management at the Institute for Humane Studies. Laura and her team handle all the planning and logistics for all the conferences, events and summer seminars that IHS holds each year.
Laura graduated from Boston University in 2004 with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Political Science. Laura was the Founder and President of the Boston University Libertarian Society. When she was not philosophizing or debating politics, Laura danced and choreographed for the Sweet Liberty Dance Team.
In 2002, Laura attended Liberty & Society at Bryn Mawr College outside Philadelphia and joined the IHS team in the summer of 2004 as the assistant to the Advanced Topics in Liberty program.
