Jim Johnston

Director of Development Marketing


Jim Johnston is the director of marketing for the Institute for Humane Studies and its sister organization, the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. He is responsible for communicating with the Institute's current supporters and seeking new supporters.

Before coming to IHS and the Mercatus Center in August of 1998, Jim spent three and a half years working in The Heritage Foundation's development office.

Mr. Johnston earned his BA from Tulane University.
