In the early 90's Ellen joined IHS as the Director of Student Applications, a position which she held for several years.  After a 15 year absence, she returned to IHS, this time concentrating her skills as the executive assistant to the president.  For Ellen, it's a thrill to see the mission of IHS being realized through the leadership of Marty Zupan.  

During the "in-between" years, Ellen's work expanded in response to life experiences.  This resulted in her creating a new model for mindful divorced parenting.  Ellen's techniques have been seen in print, on the web, heard on radio and discussed in workshop settings.  As a Huffington Post blogger, an expert with The National Association of Divorce for Women and Children and a contributor to Cutting Edge Law, she inspires other parents and law professionals to nurture their child's spirit through divorce.  With her book, The Pro-Child Way®: Parenting with an Ex, Ellen shares her tactics with parents who are looking for a conscientious method to divorced parenting.

As a Reiki Master Teacher in both Usui and Lotus Light modalities, Ellen has been gifted in seeing the tie between the work of IHS and her healing work.   She enthusiastically balances all of these aspects while continuing to gather greater awareness.
