Chad Wilcox

Chad Wilcox joined the Institute for Humane Studies in 2005. Throughout his tenure at IHS, Chad has led the public policy and journalism programs, contributed to program marketing, and coordinated hiring efforts.

Today Chad serves as director of network and alumni relations, overseeing IHS's multi-layered effort to connect people to knowledge and opportunities within the liberty movement. Chad supervises the Find Scholars service, which matches scholars with opportunities to apply their expertise outside academia; Liberty Guide, IHS’s online opportunity hub featuring job and event listings; and IHS’s external relations department.

Prior to joining IHS, Chad served as marketing director for Vanderbilt Student Communications, Inc. at Vanderbilt University. He holds a M.Ed. in organizational leadership and a B.A. in political science and economics, both from Vanderbilt. Most importantly, Chad is an alumnus of IHS's summer seminar program and loves the Tennessee Titans, craft beer and cocktails, and liberty!
