Director of Advanced Topics in Liberty and Summer Seminars

Amy Proulx

Ms. Amy Proulx is the Director of Advanced Topics in Liberty and Summer Seminars, where she works to develop intensive educational programs for IHS participants.  The Advanced Topics in Liberty program is a series of unique weekend-long conferences for students and professionals co-sponsored with Liberty Fund, Inc. These invitation-only programs center on informal, yet serious, discussion with just fifteen participants, on a topic related to the idea of free society. IHS Summer Seminars deliver the ultimate libertarian learning experience: brilliant teaching by top-tier faculty, stimulating discussion, and meaningful interaction with peers from around the world.

Amy earned her BA from Ashland University, where she studied history, philosophy, and politics. She first attended an IHS Summer Seminar in 2006, and was later a 2007 Koch Summer Fellow. She joined the IHS staff the same year, and has since worked on a variety of programs at IHS. When she’s not working at an IHS program, she’s usually baking something delicious to tempt her colleagues with.
