Film & Fiction Scholarships
Film & Fiction Scholarships provide up to $10,000 to students pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree and who share an appreciation for the potential and promise of a free society. During the past ten years, IHS has awarded more than $270,000 in scholarships.
Students pursuing MFAs in a variety of areas are eligible:
film directing • production • screenwriting
playwriting • fiction and literary-nonfiction writing
The scholarship can be used towards tuition and expenses, and is open to students pursuing an MFA full-time in the 2010-2011 school year.
Our MFA Review Committee reviews the applications and accompanying creative works of finalists. Past committee members include:
