Development Associate

The Institute for Humane Studies and the Mercatus Center at George Mason University seek an energetic, capable Development Associate to join our fast-paced and growing fundraising team. Primary responsibilities will be entering donation information into the database, running daily donation reports, coordinating with other team members to maintain accurate donation records, and managing the thank you letter and receipting process. Additional responsibilities include updating donor information in the database, preparing materials for donor outreach, communicating directly with donors as needed.

Ideal candidates will have professional experience, preferably in development, and an appreciation for our missions. Candidates must also be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a be capable of meeting hard deadlines, be entrepreneurial, and appreciate teamwork.

Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
