Scott King

Program Manager, Academic Networks

Scott King serves as a program manager for the Academic Networks team. He joined IHS in August of 2012 after completing his BA in economics at New York University.

Scott is particularly interested in the intersection of the academy and public life, and has always loved working with ideas. He enjoys working closely with academics and finding new ways to disseminate their ideas to the rest of the world.

In his spare time, Scott likes to read, explore Washington, and watch movies. His favorite writer will always be F.A. Hayek, but he also enjoys the work of Douglass North and Israel Kirzner, among others. His ideal day includes a good cup of coffee, the most recent edition of the Economist, and a new book.
