Palmer, is an overview of the major books of the classical liberal or libertarian tradition of individual rights, free markets, limited government, peace and tolerance. Published in The Libertarian Reader (Free Press, 1998), edited by David Boaz, Palmer's overview first provides a broad introduction to the ideas of liberty and then addresses works on more specific subjects, such as violence and voluntary organizations. |
