Alumni Network
One of the greatest benefits of participation in the Koch Summer Fellow Program is its extensive and successful alumni network.

Since 1992, nearly 700 talented individuals with an interest in liberty have been Koch Summer Fellows. They are now pursuing graduate degrees at prestigious universities, making a living as professional public policy analysts, working as attorneys in highly ranked law firms, and working in the private sector.

Program alumni have gone on to positions at:

  • Cato Institute
  • Institute for Justice
  • Reason Foundation
  • Council of Economic Advisors
  • Wall Street Journal
  • ABC News 20/20
  • NBC
  • New Republic
  • JP Morgan
  • U.S. State Department
  • U.S. Department of Justice
  • World Bank
  • Top Law and Graduate Schools
  • And many more organizations

IHS stays in contact with our alumni after the program to offer on-going mentoring, training, and other opportunities. Program alumni look to IHS as a resource for developing themselves and their career, and for connecting with other liberty-friendly professionals.

"As a fellow, I became part of a lasting network of individuals committed to individual liberty."

Donald Kochan, Associate Professor of Law, Chapman University
