Important Seminar Information
The Liberty & Society seminar will begin on Saturday, May 26th at Wake Forest University. Registration will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Luter Hall.
Please plan to arrive in time for check in. The first lecture will begin promptly at 3:30 p.m. If your flight is delayed or you have any other emergency that would cause you to be late, please notify your seminar assistant, Katy Ranville, at 616-862-8105 as soon as possible.
The seminar ends on Friday, June 1st after breakfast and you will need to check out by 10:00 a.m. Check out will be at the dormitory between 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. If you need to check out earlier, please notify your seminar assistant. Most people choose to stay for breakfast to say goodbye to their new friends.
Your dormitory, lecture hall, dining hall and reception locations can all be found on the campus map. Along with housing, you will be provided with meals throughout the week. Meals begin with dinner on Saturday and end with breakfast on Friday. You have free time on Tuesday, May 29th starting after lunch. Dinner will not be provided that night. Please remember to bring extra money for that dinner and any other meals while you are traveling to and from the seminar.
If you are, or will be, an intern at a state-based, free market think tank, please contact Kurt Weber at kurt@spn.org for information on travel grants they provide. In your email, please include the name of the institution and when you interned there.
