Glen Whitman is a professor of economics at California State University, Northridge, and an adjunct scholar with the Cato Institute. He received his PhD in economics from New York University in 2000. His research in applied game theory, economic analysis of law, and economic methodology has been published in the Journal of Legal Studies, International Review of Law and Economics, UCLA Law Review, and other scholarly journals. His current policy interests include healthcare and paternalism. He is also a writer on the Fox television show “Fringe.” View his website.
