Law Scholars Conference

This multi-session conference prepares students to get the most out of law school and prepare for a successful career in legal academia. Topics include publishing, the job market, and creating a research agenda. Past faculty include Tom Bell, David Bernstein, Lee Otis, Ilya Somin, and Todd Zywicki. The Law Scholars Conference is held in the spring.

Current Research Discussions

Current Research Discussions bring together a leading legal scholar and a small number of law students who are interested in legal academic careers. The group reviews each students’ research agenda and provides feedback on future development.

Mock Job Talks &  Job Interviews

Practice your job talk and interview skills and get feedback from IHS faculty.  If you have a job interview coming up, or are getting ready to go on the market, these sessions will help you prepare.
