The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) seeks a Web and New Media Coordinator to play a key role in maintaining our web presence and managing new media for our Academic Programs Department. In conjunction with day-to-day management of content on our academic networking website, the coordinator will have the flexibility to explore projects that add value to our broader strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates will have professional development experience with a track record of results and a demonstrated ability to take on significant responsibilities.

 The Mercatus Center at George Mason University and the Institute for Humane Studies are looking for a Director of Major Gifts to join a fast-paced and growing development team.  This is a management-level position that reports directly to the Director of Development.  Responsibilities include the planning and implementation of major gift strategies for prospective and current individuals.

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) at George Mason University’s marketing department is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Communications Assistant/Coordinator to join the team. We are looking someone who is very hands-on, organized and able to respond quickly to changing deadlines and priorities. The Marketing Assistant/Coordinator will be responsible for executing our email and direct mail campaigns, researching our audiences, and more.
 
Want to intern in Washington, DC this summer? Work with individuals who are advancing the ideas of free-markets and individual rights? IHS is looking for full-time interns for summer 2010. The 10-week internship begins on June 1 and runs through August 6 (dates are negotiable to a modest degree). Application Deadline: March 31, 2010.
