American Enterprise Institute: The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI) is dedicated to preserving and strengthening the foundations of freedom--government, private enterprise, vital cultural and political institutions, and a strong foreign policy and national defense--through scholarly research, open debate, and publications. Prospective interns are expected to have completed upper level college coursework in their area of interest and to have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
